Trama
Il videogioco è ambientato ai confini del mondo, dove sono presenti delle isole volanti tra le quali la città di Aeropa, dove governa il duca Skyhead. Qui si dirigono Jak, Daxter e Keira, decisa a diventare una saggia dell'eco; dopo aver fatto un giro ad Aeropa ben presto si trovano a bordo di una nave del pirata del cielo Phoenix e scoprono le malvagie intenzioni del conte, deciso a servirsi dell'Eco Oscuro per migliorare il mondo.
Personaggi
- Jak: Vuole aiutare Keira a diventare un saggio di Eco.
- Daxter: Inizialmente titubante sull'idea di partire, affianca nuovamente Jak.
- Keira: Decisa a diventare un saggio di Eco. Contesa fra Phoenix e Jak.
- Phoenix: Capo dei Pirati dei Cieli. Un tempo era il capo delle forze militari Aeropan, ma si dimise quando scoprì che facevano esperimenti sui soldati. In seguito, per fermare il duca, si scaglia col suo velivolo contro il duca, sacrificando la propria vita.
- Tim: lo scienziato che si allea alla squadra di Jak.
- Klout: Braccio destro di Phoenix, lo tradisce per unirsi con Skyheed ma muore subito dopo.
- Duca Skyheed: Duca di Aeropa. Crede che l'Eco oscuro possa migliorare il mondo.
Accoglienza
La rivista Play Generation diede alla versione per PlayStation Portable un punteggio di 88/100, trovandola un'avventura varia e divertente, adatta sia ai giocatori più esperti che ai neofiti del genere[3].
