Def Jam Vendetta est un jeu vidéo de combat de rue sorti en 2003 sur PlayStation 2 et GameCube (édité par Electronic Arts) principalement entre rappeurs du label Def Jam comme DMX, Ludacris, Method Man, Redman ou encore Joe Budden. Le but du jeu est d'essayer d'enchaîner des combos très violents en réalisant des prises de catch. Chaque personnage a son propre style de combat et ses propres styles de combos. La bande sonore du jeu est essentiellement de la musique rap interprétée par chaque combattant du jeu. Ce premier volet ayant eu du succès, un second épisode a vu le jour en 2004 intitulé Def Jam : Fight For NY. Il fait son grand retour fin 2019

Def Jam Vendetta is a 2003 professional wrestling video game that combines hip hop with pro wrestling. It was released for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube under the EA Sports BIG label in North America and Europe, and the EA Games label in Japan. It was EA's first attempt at a wrestling game since the widely panned WCW Backstage Assault. Several hip hop artists were featured in the game, including DMX, Method Man, Redman, Ludacris, N.O.R.E., Capone, Scarface, Ghostface Killah, Keith Murray, WC, Joe Budden and DJ Funkmaster Flex; all of which at the time were artists of Def Jam. Singer Christina Milian was also featured in the game as "Angel". A sequel, Def Jam: Fight for NY, was released on September 20, 2004, to largely positive reviews.

Def Jam Vendetta es un videojuego de 2003 sobre la lucha libre profesional en donde se incorporan el hip hop. Fue lanzado para la PlayStation 2 y el GameCube el 2003 y según algunos criterios este fue el primer videojuego de lucha libre de EA. El motor del juego fue originalmente diseñado para su uso en una secuela de EA WCW Mayhem , pero EA pierde la licencia WCW cuando la empresa de lucha libre fue comprado por la World Wrestling Entertainment en 2001. Hasta ahora, tan solo se han presentado dos secuelas; Def Jam: Fight For NY en 2004 y Def Jam: Icon en 2007.
