BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle est un jeu de combat en 2D développé et édité par Arc System Works, sorti en sur PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch et Microsoft Windows[1]. Développement


BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle est annoncé le via l'Evo 2017[3]. Ragna the Bloodedge, Jin Kisaragi, Yu Narukami, Hyde et Ruby Rose sont les premiers personnages révélés du jeu dans la bande-annonce de l'EVO[4]. Konomi Higuchi est désigné pour être le principal concepteur des personnages[5]. Certains personnages d'Under Night In-Birth seront redessinés pour Cross Tag Battle afin de faire correspondre les graphismes de BlazBlue. Arc System Works révèle la date de sortie en début d'année 2018, programmée le pour PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch et PC[2].

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle[lower-alpha 1] is a 2D crossover fighting game[4] developed and published by Arc System Works, first released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Windows in 2018.[5] Cross Tag Battle features characters from different series, including BlazBlue, Persona 4 Arena, Under Night In-Birth and RWBY.[6] After the game was released, characters from Arcana Heart, Senran Kagura, and Akatsuki Blitzkampf, were added as downloadable content. An arcade version was released in 2019 in Japan, and the Special Edition with all post-launch content is set to be released for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S in Q2 2023. The game received mostly positive reviews, with praise for the visuals, music, online functionality and mechanics. However, it was criticised for lack of overall content at launch and DLC practices.
