Trama


Norman Osborn, alias Goblin, scopre l'identità di Spider-Man. Modifica così il suo intero corpo con una sostanza detta OZ. Genera infine un esercito di Goblin che Spider-Man dovrà sconfiggere per salvare New York.

Spider-Man: Battle for New York is a 2006 action video game developed by Torus Games and published by Activision, and is a prequel to the 2005's Ultimate Spider-Man, itself based on the comic book series of the same name. It was released for the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS on November 14, 2006. The game features Spider-Man and the Green Goblin as the main characters and is a re-imagining of their first encounter within the Ultimate universe. Battle for New York features the Green Goblin as a playable character. The cutscenes in the game are drawn by Marvel Comics artist Ron Lim.

C'est un préquel du jeu sorti l'année précédente en 2005 Ultimate Spider-Man qui propose de vivre la première confrontation entre Spider-Man et le Bouffon Vert dans l'univers Ultimate, et explique pourquoi on retrouve le Bouffon prisonnier du SHIELD dans le premier jeu. Contrairement à ce dernier, il n'a été édité que sur consoles de jeu portables et pas sur PC ou consoles de salon.
