Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma è un videogioco del 2015 sviluppato da Redacted Studios e pubblicato da Versus Evil per Microsoft Windows e PlayStation 4. Seguito del videogioco del 2009 Afro Samurai, il gioco è basato sul manga Afro Samurai.[2] Il titolo era originariamente previsto anche per Xbox One.[3]

Il primo dei tre episodi è stato pubblicato su PlayStation Store e Steam il 22 settembre 2015.[4][5] A novembre il gioco è stato rimosso da entrambe le piattaforme.[6][7]

Steve Escalante di Versus Evil ha dichiarato il gioco "un fallimento", annunciando la cancellazione dei due parti rimanenti e il rimborso dell'acquisto.[8][9]

Il titolo ha ricevuto recensioni negative[10][11], ed è stato inserito nelle liste dei giochi più brutti dell'anno da Polygon[12] e da GiantBomb[13]. GameSpot ha criticato il gioco per la scrittura, gli scontri con i boss e il basso framerate.[14]

Il gioco è stato incluso nella lista dei dieci titoli esclusivamente giocabili su PlayStation 4, dichiarandolo non compatibile con PlayStation 5.[15][16]

Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma is a third-person action-adventure video game published by Versus Evil and developed by Redacted Studios. The game was released for the PlayStation Network and Microsoft Windows in September 2015, with an Xbox One version planned for October. The sequel to 2009's Afro Samurai, originally a manga series by Takashi Okazaki, the player controls Kuma, a swordsman who seeks revenge on the titular character.
