Il titolo viene annunciato agli Italian Video Games Awards poi durante la Gamescom 2019, sul palco presentazioni, dopo l'atteso intervento di Hideo Kojima, è stato rivelato il primo trailer del sequel dell'acclamato Remothered: Tormented Fathers dal titolo Remothered: Broken Porcelain, in collaborazione con Modus Games etichetta di Maximum Games, previsto per l'estate 2020 su Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Xbox One e PC.[1][2]. Il gioco è un survival horror d'azione ispirato alle atmosfere della saga horror Clock Tower e ai cult giapponesi Haunting Ground, Silent Hill e Rule of Rose.
