Cult of the Lamb recibió críticas "generalmente favorables" según Metacritic, donde el juego tiene una puntuación media de 8,2. Gamespot calificó el juego con 9 sobre 10, definiendo el combate como "rápido, fluido y divertido", y también se sorprendió por la cantidad de personalización y elección del jugador que, a su vez, hace que el juego sea "muy rejugable".[6]

Cult of the Lamb is a rogue-like action-adventure game developed by indie developer Massive Monster and published by Devolver Digital.
